The freshness of the 2021 vintage, revealed by the purity of the amphora. Born from a vintage marked by frost and a particularly low yield, this Cabernet Franc expresses great freshness and precision. Aging in amphora accompanies the wine with discretion, preserving the brightness of the fruit and the finesse of its structure. The nose reveals notes of red and black fruits, highlighted by delicate spicy nuances. On the palate, the texture is slender and silky, carried by fine tannins and a persistent freshness. A Cabernet Franc of great finesse, whose precision and depth linger on the finish. A limited-production cuvée where the character of the vintage meets the purity of the amphora.

A vintage of extreme climatic contrasts, 2020 was marked by a summer of scorching temperatures. At the beginning of September, the return of cooler weather and humidity ensured a smooth harvest with excellent ripeness. All the qualities of Compassant are remarkably present: intense fruit aromas, a touch of spice, deep color, and rounded tannins.
